We installed a beautiful and long-lasting new deck using Trex® Transcend® Rope Swing decking attached with screws at this Lake Tapps home.  We started by tearing off the old cedar decking, rails and lattice, then added blocking for the new rail post mountings, and installed powder-coated aluminum rail system on top of the new Trex deck and vinyl lattice to replace the old cedar lattice underneath, and of course we disposed of all the demolition and construction debris and cleaned up after ourselves!

Here's the side view of the house before we started demolition.

The old deck had been well-maintained, but it took a lot of work to keep it in shape.

The new Trex deck and aluminum railing system are almost maintenance free and will keep looking new for years.
